Default mass air question

Hi I've been getting the pieces I need for my mass air conversion. I have the computer, meter, injectors and intake tubing. My question is this:

On ebay and another thread I saw some people use the 4 pin connector conversion harnesses. I was going to buy one of these until I found a full engine harness for a good price.

I was told that if I buy the mass air engine harness that i wont have to splice into any wires or run any wires into the computer. But, do I still need to do deal with the VSS and fuel pump monitoring signal? Or when I put the new engine harness in will I be ready to plug and play

Splicing the wires was cake. I think swapping the entire harness would be harder, especially if you have A/C. The harness snakes behind the evap inside the car and it was hard enough to add and snake 4 wires through and behind there let alone an entire harness. Someone may prove me otherwise...
