Default wrong parts ftl...

I ordered a billet shifter bezel for my car... finally arrived today... when to put it on, and it didnt fit...

cuz its for an automatic...

gonna have to try to exchange it now...

was gonna have pics for you all, but, guess they'll have to wait...

That sucks man, hope they fix it with no hassle.

We got wrong parts once, asked for flywheel bolts, they gave us flexplate bolts. Yay for stripped crankshaft....errgggg.

Umm....same things?

That sucks shelty. I hope that doesn't happen when I order parts while I am over here in Iraq.

No, but thats what they had thought.

Flex plates are thinner than flywheels, the flex plate bolts are shorter, more torque on less threads and it just pulled the threads right out of the hole.

I am saving for go fast parts, but since I dont know what I really want to do with my motor yet, I am waiting until I have an exact idea in mind... my mind has switched from a blown 302 to an NA 347, turbo 331, or blown 408 just to be fun... I cant decide... lol

I guess thats a good thing to know. I didn't think about that one but I woulda figured it out. I need to order a set to go with my flywheel now that I'm making the switch huh. Thanks
