Nice car man, what did you use to paint it?
Yeah perhaps, if I find one that is a 5.0 EFI then I'll keep it, if not or 4 cyl., it's getting carbed. It's going to be super budget minded. Plus it won't won't be my only DD. It was painted well before I got it with PPG I believe. But I painted the front bumper when it got kicked when I worked at Ford with DuPont, then the hood and fiberglass hatch with Sikkens.

haha, nice idea for the project but i was asking the PO about his paint job.

i actually bought the car and it was painted primer black....i havent done any body work to it yet....the car was originally sonic blue i believe....the door jams are and under trunklid.
yea going carbed just to get a better feel for rebuilding and understanding engines...hah was never really a motor/tech head before i got this. just liked fast cars...so ive learned alot with this project so far...thanks everyone! keep the replies comming! hah

well while your working on the motor heres some ideas and they might help with power/throttle response.
3g alternator
smog pump/ac delete
electric fan (taurus fans work well)
