so im not sure if the 94-99 taurus 3g style alt is 130amp but its a easy junkyard find to replace that crappy stock 75amp alt. install is exactly the same as any 3g change the wires, notch out the bracket to clear the larger alt and youre all in.i had problems with my stock quadrant so i got one from Brads custom auto sports, a local stang/vette shop its their set up of the best combo of a quick quad and a firewal adjuster. i love it. the steal bbk underdrives are good too im getting 22mpg freeway now and i have more power. the alt is fine no charging issues. now i just need to get my mac equal length shorts in there. im being lazy. here some post ***** pics

are you still routing your belt the stock way? If you are i would reroute it, looks like the belt is close to rubbing.

taurus has stock electric fan and, although ive never driven one, maybe some more electric creature comforts, thats why they have a better alt. good old stangs are raw power.

the belt is fine it just looks close. its from the underdrives its a lil closer than stock. and the taurus alt had the same size pulley as the BBK swap pulley which is cool.
yeah i dont know if its a 130 amp but its at least 95 i assume. i searched online for specs on a taurus alt. one said 130 but it was a parts replacement. it was $10 bucks at the junk yard so it was a good deal plus my alt was bad and there were no stang ones so i pulled one and test fitted it the boneyard
