codes 91, 44, 61 after head swap

Default codes 91, 44, 61 after head swap

i didnt mess with any ground wires or anything like that

i moved the injector ground to the firewall last year because i got the the 91 and 44 codes

its saying bank 1 lean and hego not switching

code 61 says low maf ground but i cleared the codes and it went away

any idea's?

swap o/2's side to side and if the code changes to bank 2 lean then = bad o2

would code 33 cause a CEL?

says no EGR opening detected

You kind of answered your own question, ha, but anyway. Solve the lowest number codes first and sometimes the higher numbered ones will go away.

Well, it does, since if a higher priority code such as a HEGO not switching, could cause a lean problem which would create that code.

In newer cars with electronically controlled transmissions, and there's multiple codes set for the engine and trans, you solve the engine codes forst cause they can create the trans codes.

It doesn't make sense..... the numeric value of the code is not important. Example......a code 56 or 66 (MAF) will cause a problem with the HEGO's input (41/91, 42/92)... 56/66 takes precedence in the order of importance regardless of its numeric value.

Same situation..... a P1101 failure code can cause a P017x code.
