crankcase emission air filter ???
i was looking at my owners guide for maintanence schedules .. and it says at 30 thousand miles in addition to replacing your air cleaner filter to replace the crankcase emission air filter ...
can anyone fill me in as to what this is and where i might locate it .. thanks : o)

That's non replaceable.
A crankase breather (PCV Breather) is typically located on the air cleaner housing on top of the carb where the PCV hose connects to the air intake housing.
The mesh under the valve covers is acts as a baffle more than anything to keep oil from getting sucked up into the PCV line.
