I'll do you one better, 4.56 gears. JK! But seriously, 4.10's are the way to go. The only problem is you'll be shifting frequently.

Does this car spend most of it's time on the street or track, and how much highway driving do you do?

3.73s here wish i went 4.10s now. You will have to change the speedo gear on the end of the speedo cable going into the tranny, that is it

The cobra is never on the highway. I don't even drive it that much, but want the extra power off the line when i do. It is a very low mileage car, and i am trying to preserve the orginality as much as possible. I don't want to add anything that will add excessive wear and tear, other than just the norm.

Unless you spend alot of time on 1/4 mile, 3.73 are a good street gear for the gearing on our 5-speed.
Generally for street use I say:
Fox-4 and SN-95 = 3.73's
S-197, '99-'01 Cobra and Mach 1 = 4.10's
