Default turbines vs pony wheels

ive got a set of Pony's on my '92 GT and i know that theyre a 16x7 and i run a 225/55/16 tire on those. now, on the '83 i have, ive got a set of turbine wheels and dont really know what size tire they need. its got 2 on the car with tires, but diff size tires, and i have 2 wheels without tires. so, my question is this....does anybody know the size of the turbine wheel and/or what size the stock tires are for the wheels. honestly, i dont even remember if theyre 15's or 16's. any help would be, well, helpful. haha

and if you dont really know what im talking about, its these:

They are 15 inch I think they a 7 inches wide. I think they came with 225/60/15s. The only thing I'm absoluty sure about is it's an ugly wheel

15x7's. 225/60 stock. I have a set of 275 60's on the rear of mine (it came like that). But 235's look nice and if you can find a set of 245/50's that would be the way to go but good luck.

awesome. thanks guys.

i know theyre not the BEST looking Mustang wheel, but they ARE better than the 10-holes. i actually dont mind the turbines. but theyre only to be on it until i can afford a set of Prostars or the Pacer knockoffs.....once i find a job anyway. haha

I don't mind either one of them really. Here is what that monster 275/60 looks like on them

that tire's HUGE. you should look for a 275 50 15. thats what i ran on both of my fox's. also i put focus tires up front, i believe they were 185 60 15's gave it a rake and the illusion of skinnies up front

good lord that tires HUGE on that car.

hey red, the Focus tires...you put them on a turbine or saying on a Pacer/Weld thats like 4" or 5" wide? the 275/50 is what the M/T dr comes in, and thats what i eventually want to run on the street. ill switch to slicks for the track though. im guessing no clearance/rubbing issues with teh 275/50 or did you have to roll the fender or anything? or was it stock height? suspension wise, eventually i want either strange coilovers with drag springs, or just run lakewood 90/10's and 50/50's with drag springs of course. i want it to be streetable but itll be a track car for the most part(i think), although that may change. haha

the pony's are staying on my '92. i mean, id like to get the 17" Pony R's for my '92, then yeah, i could just use the Pony's on the '83.....but id like to get the '83 just running right and on the road first, so, therefore, thats why i was asking about the turbines and tire size.
