Going to the Track today.... Take a guess...
So im finally going to the track. This will be the first time with the 5speed.
let's see some guess's on what ill run.
***Remember, this is Bandimere Speedway in Morrison Colorado, Track elevation 5880ft above sea level***
Cars mod's :
1989 LX Vert 302
car weight around 3250lb (will find out exact weight at the track)
Driver weight : 250lb's
BBK engine bay intake
'93 Cobra 73mm MAF (calibrated for 19lb injectors)
BBK 70mm throttle body & EGR
Typhoon Professional Product's intake manifold (upper and lower)
Port & Polish OEM E7 head's, 110 comp cam springs, new valves
OEM camshaft
oem headers
BBK offroad H pipe
Mac Cat-back
4.10 rearend
weld draglite rims
235/60/15 Mickey Thompson ET Street radials
Cobra T5 trans (3.55 first gear)
Aluminum driveshaft
crank and waterpump underdrive pulleys
Mark VII electric fan with DCC controler
aftermarket radiator
timing set at 15-17*
NO NITROUS TODAY
pretty sure that's it.
the bad part is stock suspension that is DEAD, and no subframe connectors
REMEMBER this is at VERY high elevation, you can watch Pink's All Out that shot here at Bandimere Speedway to see how it was.
What ever a car run's at sealevel, you basically have to add .8-1.2 second's to the 1/4 mile.
im leaving in about an hour to the track, i will post result's and video's tonight when i get home.

ugh, i just picture my rear end exploding
yea, 16.1@87 with the old AOD and a few less bolt on's
14.28@91 on a 50shot (same as above, old AOD trans and a couple less bolt-on's)
