what will make more power cleveland or windser

Yep.... Cleveland design heads are lousy, reason why they are still banned from being used in some racing classes, and not so the "master" they were "copied" from...... Will a Cleveland outperform a Windsor?.... yep, the builder is what takes the importance center stage though.

I never said the general design philosophy of a Cleveland head sucks, canted valve high flow head that is. But the stock Ford Cleveland heads were a lousy implementation of that design philosophy. That's why all the modern Cleve head designs have much smaller/different ports, but flow far, FAR more, much higher port velocities. It's still a Cleveland head, but produces phenomenally more power than a stock design.
That's also why I said a W will outperform a C up to a point. If you're willing to spend more money to build a good C, then an engine of the same size and rpm range will outperform a W. It just costs more. In the end, a stock anything older head just can't keep up with a modern aftermarket head of good design.

..... read a little in between the words. Lousy design?, getting banned?... why?...... as MCH would have said...... "can't touch this!"...... I wonder why? Would I choose them, even over some aftermarket inline valves heads out there?...........
