Z max anyone?

So does anyone actually know if ZMAX helps/does anything? was watching SPEED, and saw a camercial for it.... just thought i would see what you guys thought

There is no substitute for well built components running quality fluids but the theory behind it is good and if it works as stated I can see where it would be very useful. The Jury is still deliberating on this one. I've seen a lot of stuff come and go over the years making big claims and my general conclusion is there is no such thing as "Mechanic In A Can"

i think as long as you use some quality oils and lubricants you should be fine. it boggles my mind when people spend 5 plus grand on a motor and then buy the walmart 99cent oil.

Timspony 04-28-2009 03:37 PM

...I wouldn't use it! ...Valvoline actually makes the oil for Wal-Mart ^^^^

OneGearhead 04-28-2009 04:07 PM

r u sure its valvoline?? me and the guys i used to work with thought it was made by Mobil because all the numbers were so close to each other. BG had a chart/sheet and it was like Mobil 1, Wal-Mart, Valvoline, and on down the line. we couldnt believe it.

NoGo95GT 04-28-2009 04:09 PM

^^^^Yeah, I thought Mobil 1 made Walmart's SuperTech as well. I actually run it in my car.

OneGearhead 04-28-2009 04:31 PM

its crazy. get the value/protection of Mobil 1 for 75% less. lol i think the Mobil logo is actually on the back too.
