Default recovering headliner

Does anyone know how to recover a headliner and not have it sag. I have covered some plywood with carpet with rattle can adhesive and it turned out ok, but it is not hanging upside down. I don't know what adhesive is best and would last a long time without having to redo. Also, what kind of material is best for the job. Thanks for the help.

There is a tutorial on 5.0 resto. They sell a spray adhesive for doing them. Probably if you sprayed the board and the material (they sell it also) you shouldnt have any problems with it falling down.

When I made my headliner I just used the elmers brand. It has only been in my car for 2 months but no problems so far.

50resto.com sells a headliner on a abs plastic board all ready to go, I used such in my 85 and it worked great..they also sell the material there too.
