Default Got my car dynoed today

Got my car dynoed today at Brothers Performance in Corona because they are having a deal where you get three pulls for 70 bucks. It was 90 degrees outside and pretty humid, but best pull was 221 rwhp and 249 rwtq. TKO also looses 18 percent drivetrain loss versus 12 or 13 of the T-5. So if it lost 20 percent through the drivetrain, that would make it around 275 at the crank, which isn't bad for what I have done. They also said if it was cooler outside, like in the 60s, probably would have been more like 235 rwhp. They said it was also somewhat lean so I bought an adjustable fuel regulator to turn it up a little. I have print outs but haven't had a chance to post them yet.

Nice numbers for being mostly stock. Although there is probably more to be had. Now it's time to take it to the track and see what it can do.

I have the 400 dollar RR gtech that I have been messin around with because there is no tracks remotely close to my house. There is a 1/4 straight away a little ways from my house that I run and race at sometimes. I tried to run it the other night but I couldn't launch it all. Was a 15.308 at 96 mph with a 12 inch rollout and 2.6 60 foot lol. I know thats like a 14.5 trap speed.

i dynoed my 87gt this week as well. all stock except bbk cai and flowmaster catback. was putting out 188rwhp and 245 torque at wheel, not bad for 22years old. also did a quarter mile pull on it and got 14.8 at around 105 i think, cant remember and didn't get print out of speed for 1/4 mile. anyway thought i'd just share with you. and i got a super deal on the dyno, my college just got a new one this year since there old was was, well old and crappy. they have a mustang brand dyno, awd, pretty sweet. and cant beat price to run, free.

will be nice to see what it's putting out now as before with the AOD it put out a earth shattering 216rwhp and 265rwtrq with the AOD slipping like crazy.

im hoping for 260rwhp 300rwtrq

Horsepower-schmorsepower, some guy PM'd me telling me I had 180RWHP but I've still done fine on the street versus some fairly potent cars. Enjoy your ride and mod as it becomes financially feasible. The dyno is less gratifying than the SOTP anyhow...

Some ginch stain from some inbred sparrowfart town whose PM I've long since erased. I know my car isn't a monster, but it runs damn good for what it is. I'm also smart enough to know when to back down so I don't step on my dick (pride). Too many people get caught up in the dyno thing. If you're running a 400hp Buick Roadmaster I'll run you, and dagnabbit it'll be fun win or lose. The dyno can kiss my ***...
