My top motor went out last week. Found a guy on craigslist parting out an 88 GT vert . Going to look at some chrome cobra wheels and tires that he is asking $300 for. He says the top motor is good if I can show him how to pull it out of the car. We haven't talked price. Just wondering what you guys thought a fair price would be.

yeah 50-100 would be my offer and would go new after that since you have no idea when its gonna go bad since that one is original as well

hrmmmmmm^^^^doesn't look like a bad deal as lond as what is pictured is exactly what arrives....ya know what I mean?? kinda like The whopper you buy at BK.....IN the picture it looks freakin' good but when I unwrap it after I buy it, what is now on my tray vs what I see in the pic are two totally different things!!!!lol

Oh well. I got the used one. hooked it up at the guys house to make sure it works. Thanks for the info on the Ebay motor. When this one dies thats the route i'll take.
