Just get a new midpipe, getting rid of the 4 cats makes its louder and sounds much more mean IMO... Then do gears and you still have a very driveable car for college.

ok. the gears idk about. all he said is hes gettin some for free and he could get me some, but i'll probably just tell him not to worry about it. bc i didnt think about the stealing possibility.

so the h-pipe has the good tone? i want loud with a good sound. my old car used to rattle windows and set off car alarms. so i definitely want loud. but again, a good tone. and the emissions thing isn't a problem. the guy we go to doesnt check for all the technical stuff...just horn wipers and no check engine light.

and if i do get gears, how bad will it hurt my gas milage. i do a lot of highway drivin...65mph normally. so any info about that is appreciated

i think you should have 3.73 gears and a new t-loc diff installed, that made the biggest seat of the pants difference with my car. you should also look into a bbk or mac cold air intake and maybe a maf and throttle body. as far as making it louder, an offroad h-pipe will make it louder and give it that "classic" mustang sound. an offroad x-pipe will have a more unique sound in my oppinion.

Yeah I always forget about that no emmisions where I live. Possibly some rims and tires? They always make a car look good.

ohh boy....there are soooo many things for mustangs. But, knowing how college is since im here myself i would suggest things that would b purely for looks and not soo much into performance. I know this cause i was doing performance....and it bites in the butt when those nice blue and red lights come after u, lol. Doing looks will pretty much guarantee success with the chicks since...well, its a stang, duhh!... and btw, ppl here in college try to show off a bit too much and since ive been here there has been like 5 student deaths in a 5000 student university in just 2 years....its ur choice what u want to do in the long run, just be VERY careful on ur decisions

I have 3.73s and i average 22mpg every week, a mix of highway a little city. I would try get some of that money for college at least, because you go broke REAL quick trust me. Theres always a party to drink for free trust me again and girls are always attracted to a good sounding stang and those blue lights do cost alot as said before TRUST ME ONCE AGAIN!!
