Default Anyone here running a pro stick?

Im currently searching for mounting options -

I have a B&M pro stick, with the aluminum surround. I was wondering how people have mounted them in the past (if at all).

Secondly, does anyone have an opinion on shifting with an AOD?? I've heard on person say to launch in first, shift to second, once the trans grabs second, move the selector back to first.

Also, is it really nessesary to go buy a 5" tach with the monster shift light?

I've only owned 5spd cars untill this point, so, this AOD is messing with my head.

here is where i have mine mounted. if your still running the stock valve body (which i assume you are since your asking about the 1-D-1 shuffle) dont waste your money on a pro stick. besides being expensive, it wont help you much more then the stock shifter will. when you step up to a performance valve body then look for a shifter

Hehe, already bought the pro-stick

as for the 1D1 run... I do have a shift kit (set as firm as it could be made (custom))

it does hold second well, however, it simply isnt a manual valve body. Im basically doing everything I can this year without digging into the internals of anything.
