new to forums hi everyone tryin to do 88 5.0 build had some questions

Default new to forums hi everyone tryin to do 88 5.0 build had some questions

my first forum i join so might not be right section or area..lol got a 88 foxbody mustang from ford dealership for $300 dollars botoom end was tore up.i grabbed a engine that was sitting in a field for a couple years dumped the water out cleaned it up and been running car for last 2 years.alot of ppl been donating stuff to my build.parts i have,pavton supercharger(centrifical),trick flow(efi) intake top and bottom w/spacer,roll cage for car,fuel pump from 2005 4 cam cobra stang(found to be comp to aftermarket pumps),have some blue top injectors from a 97 efi 460,that what i got from free from ppl or traded fro minor paint and body work. im lookin to get around 450 hp.i have access to tow yards ,dealersship part outs,ect.heres my questions can explorer(gt40) heads be a suitable for supercharged application ,or should i buy 1000 dollar aluminum heads(non procomp)? i have about 2 grand to spend on heads,cam,piston,rockers(i know it not alot but it what im workin with.the car is a speed density system now,with creates another problem with the large .500 something lift i dreamed of.i know this post is getting too long but i do have carb set up (eldibrock intake )distributor ect has anybody done a centrifical supercharger on a carb set up seems scary but any ideas?

to add to my last tread im going to use a stock .30 bore with unspecified piston(not sure what to get to meet compression ratio.bottom end will have main gridle brace was told bottom end will handle up to 550 horsepower safely.need to choose a head to buy the right piston,and pick out the right cam.got money burning a hole in my pocket and not sure which direction to go.any help would be appricated from spec or vendors that sell good american built heads.ty

ty for the welcome,im learning alot reading this forum....and yea the 4-cam came out of a 2005 mach-1 mustang.thats where i got the fuel pump for my 89 5.0.the engine is a pig.also took a engine 0ne from a lincon mark v111 was older year though.can also tell u how to get a running 4 cam engine running with trans for about 500-1000 buck.i got a few secrets....lol as far as my build im hittin up the wreckin yards this weekend gonna grab some explorer heads and some 3.55 and 3.73 from some 8.8s sounds bad but im just tryin to get 450 hp from this 302w/ baby 7lb paxton weenie charger till i can finish my 97 460 engine.that will gimmie time to figure out suspension and tub and weld the car up.the more i get into building my speed density non programable ecm the more it make me want to do a blow thru carb set up.if i can get a good blow thru carb cheap i might .30 over the stock bottom end, and fill it with nitrous see what happens.only down side is after im done with the engine i wanted to put in a 88 isuzu p/u i know sounds dumb but always wanted a low rider lookin truck with mine isint that low but anywayc im takin pic and videos of the turd mustang i have now so it will be kinna cool seein the start to finish. dont need money to race just gotta get creative.and if u where thinkin it yes im probally gonna blow this engine up they say 550 on the bottom end but im not believeing it.
