miles are low, so the body should be in good shape, check for body work or damage.

It should run smooth with that mileage. Price is good if it's clean.
Carbs are actually pretty easy to work with and reliable if set up correctly.

looks really clean

take a stud finder with you(like for checking for studs building a house etc) it will help you find hidden body filler, a magnet works too

check the rear hatch for rust all 79-93 hatchs are bad about rust

check the rear hatch jamb for damage

get under the car check the frame rails with your magnet also take something to poke around IE pen,screwdriver etc to check for soft spots

check the rear torque boxes(where your 4 control arms bolt too) for damage from hard racing(ie torn sheetmetal) and check for rust

check around the windshield with the magnet, check around the 1/4 windows esp at the bottoms.

check the door jambs for rust replaced quarter panels

remove the spare tire and cover lift up the carpet look for rust

stock the car will have single exhaust, and a single hump crossmember, the car will have a 7.5 axle(the weaker rear used on all 4,6 and v8 cars until 85) it will be plenty strong enough for the stock setup, you might want to buy a 8.8 from a later model car

i would be looking for obvious signs that the car has 141k miles and not 41k

if it check's out in decent shape nothing acting funny, run's SMOOTH doesnt try and choke and die when leaving a light, or a quick bap of the throttle then id buy it.

wont be a power house without a ton of money into it, but its a good looking 4eye from the low quality pics

let us know

I'm with Army. The state of the entire car will dictate if the mileage is correct or in fact a rollback. You have enough experience on here to know whether a car has 41,000 miles or 141. Here where I live, an '83 GT with 60Ksomething kms would fetch more than 10 grand if the body was sound. They're collectible if you didn't already know. Slow but collectible :-)
