I would also be interested in see how it acts running it with no vacuum on the regulator just to be sure it isn't a pinched vacuum line or something.
well the balancer does have a slight "wobble" but even still I checked tdc afterwards and it was dead on.

But even if the injectors were too small, wouldn't it run ok at light throttle; and only run lean or spark knock at wot?

....under no load you should be fine, but under any load (& if the head gasket is damaged) you're going to have issues....

well my head bolts were torqued at 60lbs, 65lbs and 70lbs with the following sequence:
9,3,1,5,7
8,6,2,4,10

so I don't see reason for any gasket damage unless lean condition..

Thanks for everyone's help, your generosity and thought is greatly appreciated but, I'm done, it's over, I've given up on the fuel injection; it's getting sold and I'm going carbed. Maybe it would be different if I lived anywhere near tuners or anybody who understood fuel injection, but I don't. Everyone here is carbed... I tried to be different but it doesn't work.. now I know why. Anyhow, thanks again guys... and if you can still put up with me, refer to my newest thread: https://mustangforums.com/forum/5-0l...ml#post6290525

Cheers!
