Default still runs like crap...

ok so ever since last tuesday my 5.0 has been running like crap...

I have done the following

cleaned out IAC, cleaned the MAF first, checked the Dizzy

pulled codes
got code 33, 41, and a few unrelated ones or EGR, and running lean

cleaned out EGR, like I REALLY cleaned the EGR...

still stalls at cold start, runs a little smoother, but still not the best...

where to go from here? I checked the HEGO ground strap, thats fine, the O2s are seated in their bungs...

last thing I want to do is take it to a shop...

did you try switching the 02s?

as far as the cold start, my ect sensor wasn't getting a good connection and caused problems one time. It never did throw a code. I put some contact grease on the connector and my problem cleared up.

It's on the metal lines that run along the lower intake right beside the dizz on pass side

say if you are in front of the car looking at the engine, you will see a metal pipe going into the intake to the left of the distributor. There will be a 2 wire sensor teed of that pipe.

You can run a wiggle test to find the connection problem.

thanks, yeah I just want to hopefully fix this issue tomorrow. once the car is running, it runs well, idle is still a little rough, but sometimes it will stall 2-3 times before it will run...

it sounds like it could be a vacuum leak. Have you put a tester on it?
