I have been looking for a foxbody 5.0 for a few weeks now. I came accross what i think is a fantastic deal. Just wanted some input from others. The car is a 1989 5.0 Coupe/Notchback. Has 100k miles on the body. Body is perfect! I checked it out for about 2 hours. Everything lines up great no bondo or anuything anywhere. Has a 4" cowl hood. The car is white and looks sharp still. The motor has about 3k miles since rebuild and he didn't do much to it. Just put in an E-cam p&p on stock E7s and he converted it to carb with RPM air gap intake with Holley 650cfm carb. Has all accesories on the motor still and they all work great...even the AC works! Has a built C4 tranny with quick shift and 3500 stall converter. Has 3.73's in the rear. He has lakewood 90/10 up front and 50/50 in back. drag springs front and rear. Has weightjacker control arms in rear. Interior is in great condition. he has aftermarket gauges for the tach,oil press,temp and volts. Has draglites all around with skinnys in front and fats on rear. On top of all this he has every single part he ever took off the car which is all included. His price is 4k.. I told him hell yeah I want it and we are suppose to do the deal tonight just wanted some input before I put the money out. Sorry for the long winded post. hah

Not to worried about paperwork. I drove the car already and was happy with it. Just so happens when I was test driving it with him in the car another SN95 5.0 came out to the frontage road we were on.. The car cathes up to us and starts trying to get our attention.. He tells me go ahead and put it in first.. So I did... we took off and I skipped 2nd and went right into 3rd.. lol never drove a trans like this 1 before.. Guy slows down and we get back up to him.. put it in 1st again.. this time I get 2nd like I should and by the time I was in 3rd the sn95 was only to been seen in my rear view mirror. Needless to say I was happy! I do not street race but the roads were clear with 0 traffic.

4k is fair oh and sn-95's in a foxes rearview mirroe are a familiar sight...lol get used to it..or better said enjoy it!! lol that ought to start a debate....sorry guys couldn't resist

Still waiting for the day a nice notchback falls in my lap for a good deal. All the ones i see are 7-9k and i dont have that kind of money lol.
