Default I found some gt40s

I found a 98 explorer on craigslist that is being parted out. it has 78,000 miles on it. The guy only wants $125 for the heads. Im going out tommorow to get them. They are still on the engine and the car is out in a field. I have never touched the heads on a car before. What tools do I need? I know I have to remover the intake and then the valve covers of course to get to the heads which I have done before but what do I need to get the heads off?

Ive always used just a socket, ratchet, and a **** ton of elbow grease. You wont need to worry about the order that you take the head bolts out due to the fact that you will have to buy new headgaskets and headbolts.

I dont think I am leaving anything out but thats my 2 cents.

BTW, it would be a good idea to be carefull about the order in which you take them off, and go in 1/4 turn incriments until the bolts are semi loose. This will prevent the heads from warping beyond their ability to be resurfaced. FYI, they will need to be resurfaced before reinstalling them.
