Yes i upgraded to a Edelbrock Performer RPM Air Gap intake though and needed more space under the hood so I went with a 4 inch cowl and had it repainted in the same format as the stock hood.

This was the first set up with just a Edelbrock performer Intake, stock heads (just a 351w bored out with a mild cam)

This was after the new H/C/I combo, 750cfm street/strip carb.

but wonder why i like it so much?............ lol.

i plan on doing a 357w, but want to put it in my hard top. IDK, would be SWEEEEET to do it to the soft top to really "wow" some people.

I see no rollbar, so how is the body taking the torque?

also what tran's are you running?

I am running the stock T5 from 1983. No there is no roll bar but I do have welded in sub-frame connectors. I just currently upgraded my pushrods to Comp Cam solid pushrods appose to the crappy ford factory ones with the welded on ball that breaks off.

I love my vert, no one expects a mid 12 second vert mustang lol. I had those same Mickey T's but they seemed to stress on my T-5 doing warm up burnouts etc so i went to some radials which are decent.
