Default Q: fox interior swap?

I have a 93' notch black interior that I need to swap into an 89' notch. The 89' has the lap belt only setup, and 93' has the full restraint mounted up on the cargo tray. Do I have to do anything special to get my full black restraint setup into the 89' notch? This will be my first interior swap, so any tips for doing this swap will be helpfull.

There is a stud and re-enforcement plate under the package tray. On my car the studs were cut ( ). So I opted to just have lap belts. You really can't get in there with anything unless you pull out the rear window.

Hopefully my braces will not be cut, i am guessing I will have to drill into the brace to mount the seat belt retainers?

I would very much like to keep the full restraint, as my son rides back there with a car seat. Any other tips that I should know before digging into the swap?

That is the same reason (car seat) that I put seat belts and a rear seat back in my car. What I did was to weld 1600 lb work load d rings and re-enforcement plates to the floor, so I could use them as car seat anchors, like what the newer cars have. Since your car did not have shoulder belts from the factory, my guess is that the plate is not back there. You could fab some up and use some grade bolts and I think you would be fine.
