she put down 215rwhp and 274rwtq

do you have an AOD or 5 speed? mine is a 5 speed
Thats hardly stock, full exhaust is good for some 15hp.

His sig says he has a 5 speed.

Haha.... don't know how I missed that, think I just read his sig.

Those numbers are low considering the mods. I have exhaust/intake manifold/UD pulleys on my '83 and I make closer to what you do.

I'm pretty sure the significant amount of oil my car burns is because of a bad valve. Not to mention the car was hot as hell from a 45 drive to the dyno in 85 degree weather and suckin through a paper filter in the stock air box.

Might be other flaws with the car as it hasn't been scanned in two years, got an OBD1 scanner coming in the mail.

Nothing wrong with the stock air box really, as long as the air silencer is removed.

if you know the motor is hurt then why did you put it on the dyno? what would you have done if it blew?

If it blew on the dyno... tow it home and build a new motor now rather than later. No different than if I was flogging it at the dragstrip.

you are having valve float at 4250 rpm's... a new set of springs would put you over 200hp
