Fuel pump code/questions/is he full of it
Code 95 = Fuel pump: open, bad ground or always on - Power / Fuel Pump Circuits
code 96 = Fuel pump monitor circuit shows no power - Power / Fuel Pump Circuits
do either of these mean I have a bad fuel pump? or does this mean that I have a bad fuel pump relay?
I talked to my mechanic's 3rd in command when I had them replace my o2 sensors (couldnt get them out) and he said the fuel pump isnt getting a right reading so its not sending enough fuel to the engine and its bad and needs to be replaced and its the cause of my lean issue. Iwas not aware that 255 lb/hr walbro pumps could adjust how much fuel they could send (/sarcasm)
I think he is full of it, because I am sure the fuel pump constantly pumps and the FPR is the object that regulates the fuel, correct?
