Default How much for a cam swap?

I was looking at changing my cam out, but the mechanic told me 800 dollars (cam included). I was going with a letter cam. Does this sound right?

i think my cam swap cost me:
265 for cam
90 for springs
55 retainers
15 locks
30 valve seals
------
455 ish... ? those are just guess numbers without looking them up. no labor. so yea 800 sounds fair. good thing you arent in my zip code area. 115 per hour around here.
