Trying to figure out what my cars worth if I were to sell it. My first mustang and I know theres some people out there with a lot of experience so some of you should be able to help.
It’s a 1985 Gt convertible with a 302.
INTERIOR.
Interior is very clean. Installed new carpet, have aftermarket dual gauge pod and a autometer tachometer, other than that stock clean interior.
EXTERIOR.
Car was just painted silver. No dings or dents fresh paint.
2 inch fiberglass cowl hood.
Trim and moldings all recently painted.
ENGINE.
Engine is basically a stock 302. Had engine apart and replaced all the seals and gaskets, along with all the piston rings, rod bearings, oil pump
upgraded clean e7 heads.
Mac shorty headers.
Straight h pipe (no cats)
Underdrive pulley system
Electric fan
Edelbrock carb and intake manifold
Msd ignition
Subframe connectors
Roh wheels
NEW.
Radiator
Starter
Starter solenoid
brakes
battery
convertible top
and cars always kept up on oil changes and tune-ups. Runs excellent and sounds mean not a lotta rust at all. What do you think this would be worth around???? Any ideas?

around here if you wanted a quick sell id say 3500. i use to buy and sell cars for a little while. if i was willing to sit on the car for a couple months which more than likely in the economy i would have to and the car ran extremely well i might put it out there for 4300-4500 max. verts are typically harder to sell from ive noticed

yes lol i should correct myself when i say upgraded, that not an upgrade im aware, by that i should have said clean. basically i just putter a cleaner set on that had not as much wear and tear and came off a very nice motor someone was striping down.

you paid that much mike? damn, I was not even looking for a vert, just a 5-speed 5.0 and I found mine for 3K, she needed some cosmetic work, but dont they all
but I am glad I bought it, ladies love riding in her with the top down

^I was looking for a GT and all the gt's were going for more, The thing the one I got had going for it was decent paint and new cobra r rims as well as a saleen wing and mach 1 ram air cowl hood.....it also came with EDelbrock aluminum heads, comp cam, and ported cobra intake, so it was by no means a stock one , it has a slew of other mods too....however the inside was thrashed and it had a bunch of mech issues, all I have left to do it rebuild tranny and swap out clutch and flywheel and install a different exhaust and a few other small cosmetic issues and it'll be ready to go, this past weekend I did a new rack, pump, alignment, rear wheel cylinders, shoes , hardware and brake flush...the interior is basically done except for a radio....I'll update my thread soon enough
