It Works! FINALLY!
Yes, Finally, It works! I didn't think it would ever happen but damnit perseverance finally paid off. Couldn't really come onto 'er tonight because it had just rained and she would fly sideways through 2nd and 3rd but it feels strong and sounds awesome! I'm exhausted and going to bed, but will post up build pics tomorrow. Cheers!

The engine. I tore out the stocker back on March 15th. Did a complete h/c/i swap and had a ton of insane problems straight from day one. Got it working well, but it kept spark knocking and running lean and no matter what I tried it didn't work. So I tore it apart and went carbed and after a bunch of other crazy ordeals, it finally works!

Well after my recent excessively long 24 hour road trip (one way) to Virginia, it came to mind that 1467 ran of the drivers side plain. So I started thinking about a huge vacuum leak.. or heck a rag or something shoved in there.. I've seen stranger things in my life.. but anyhow. I tore the carb off and there it was.... a motherf'n hole right under the carb where a plug needs to go in the back of the intake. Plugged it, set my timing and gave her hell. Embarassed... ya! happier... Definitely!
