Hello all. im in the market and came across this beauty. look legit? anything seem fishy? just asking cause there are wiser eyes here than mine!! aight guys, thanks!

looks nice just check all rust spots, carfax, tq boxs, but maybe lower the price

yeah it says OBO so im planning on offering a little lower if i like it. how do u check the torque boxes? like for rust or what?

look for them being ripped. the torque boxes are where the control arms attach and sticky tires an d or hard driving have a tendicy to tear them apart

k well i just got off the phone with the guy. the ad said $4,800 OBO so i threw him the Excellent Blue book as gently as i could. KBB excellent private seller = $3,580. haha...i think i offended him. lol he kinda tripped, i was like whoa its cool man, do what you gotta do, this is just friendly negotiating man. haha he told me his basement basement price was 4,200 IF he took the pony wheels off and put on some 4cyl wheels he had laying around. So...i threw out $4,000 and told him to call me if he has trouble selling it. hes 200 miles away too, so im tryin not to waste anyones time.
opinions anyone??
