Default need a new block

hey guys, im starting a new build, getting a list of parts together to buy. Im planning on running a turbo 331, hoping for high numbers. The only thing im stuck on is the block. I know places like DSS racing sell "race prepped" blocks but they're essentially a stock block from what ive heard and wont hold up to much more abuse than that. I need something thats going to be robust enough to take a beating. something that numbers over 600 wont kill in a heartbeat. planning on backing it with a c4 tranny? thoughts on this? thanks.

sounds like you need a 4bolt block to me. ever thought about going a 351? if anything you get more cubes and a stronger block

honestly the whole 351 thing kinda scares me a little because im not sure as to what ill need to change. ive got alot of parts already that should work. 4 bolt would definitely be a plus though.....
