Default Why is my 94 soooo slow!

Ok please inform me why my 94 seems so damn slow. I dont know if the combo i have just doesnt work or what but for all the time and money i put in it i feel it was a waste. The body style is wayyyyy to heavy and i think i should have either gone with a fox or a completely different car. Ive got the stock 5.0 block but have procomp 60cc heads/ GT40 upper/lower intake. 4.10 gears, shorty headers, 1.6 roller rockers, 70mm TB, C&L MAF, 24lb injectors, UD pullies, Cold air intake, E-303 cam, 14º timing, short throw shifter, Intake spacer, and probably more i cant even think about. I WASTED all the time and money of doing this and yet fox body 5.0's with alot less mods then mine either keep up or beat me. Im so damn pist im selling the damn thing. I know they are heavy cars but come on? All that money to still be a slow POS? What is the problem? any ideas? I hate to get rid of it after sinking so much money in it but this is pathetic. My old 98 i built that was N/A was alot faster then this thing. Anyone know the prob? is the 5.0 really that slow in the 94s or is something else the problem?

pro comp heads and e-cam are not the best choices in the world but it should make some steam, you really need to run the car at the track to get a base line on the power

size are the heads?.......uhh not sure what you mean but they are Aluminum Procomp 60cc with 2.02/1.6 valves. 210cc intake runners. Not sure what else you need on them?

210 god dam part of your problem is you need a hella bigger cam to make your power with a 302 i wouldnt go much over 200cc intake runner cause then your getting into 351w and stroker volumes. the only way i would run heads that big is forced inductsion. i would say get a custom cam made and maybe that gt40 upper/lower ported. when some1 asks for head size commonly refering to intake runner size.

guess i was told wrong when i bought the heads then. Had someone telling me to get them so they would support future mods. Guess i should have gotten the smaller ones. The E-cam is also to small? Who makes either some good custom cams I should use? Would something like the TFS stage 1 cam work alright or is custom grind the way to go with the stuff i have on there? Im thinking i might be better off selling all the crap and starting over now. Of course if i gotta do it all over again i might as well sell the car and get a better starting point like a 347 stroker lol. After all the time i put into this car is just really frustrating to have to do it all again. grrr. oh well. Guess it will teach me not to listen to some people i know. Should i just take the GT40 off, sell it and get the Trickflow intake or something? That should work alot better then the GT40 crap shouldnt it? Thanks for the replies by the way.

best way to take advantage of those larger heads is supercharge it, get a different intake such as a tfs box intake and have a custom cam designed to the combo so as to maximize the valve events while still being safe with ptv
