New Here With A Good Question???
O.K, i am new here.. i have been on other fourms before but new to this one.. so here is my question i hope someone here can help... Ok well i have a 91 Mustang GT Vortech S-trimed with everything under the sun.. well last summer i decided to upgrade the Cam in the car. So i did the cam upgrad (which is the last on my list for the engine to be complete, which it is complete now and i went to start the car last summer and i turned the key, heard the fuel pumps run and turned the key further and nothing??? so i went ahead charged the battery and tried again... Same thing? so then i replaced the siloniod figuring i will start small and go from there, still nothing the starter doesn't even spin.. so i thought a ground could be off... and i have went over the car about 600000000 times and everything seems to be connected so my last resort is the starter? that is the only thing i can think of?? does anyone have any input on this do you think it could be the starter or something else.. I put the project on hold due to starting a new busisness but now i want to get it started and out of the garage and back on the streets!! so any help would be great thanks!!!

Check your battery cable wires to make sure they are not corroded. One time I put three starters on a Chevy truck thinking it was the starter. We tried a different cable and it fired right up. The cable looked fine from just looking at it. When we cut the wire cover off, we saw it was corroded.

O.K. ill check them, they are pretty new though and so is the batter and connections the car has never seen rain or snow, so everything stays clean. but i will double check them, i was going to take the starter out tomorrow and take it to pepboys or autozone to get tested and if it passes then i will have to start from square one.. but i will keep you informed and thanks, let me know if you think of anything else

jump the two main posts on the solenoid with a screwdriver, see if the starter kicks over at all. if it doesnt, give it a tap or two with a hammer... and try again.
if the starter DOES turn over when jumping the posts on the solenoid... suspect a wiring issue between your solenoid and ignition switch.
could also be the ignition switch too
