Can I Beat My Brother?

Here are the specs in a head to head between these two models:
Mustang(225 hp/300trq)
0-60: 6.6
1/4 : 15.3@92
Curb weight: 3280
Rear gears: 3.08
Camaro(230hp/330trq)
0-60: 6.6
1/4 : 15.2@92
Curb weight: 3480
Rear gears: 3.27
Since you are a new driver at 5-speed, I am going to give him the win, primarily due to your inexperience. Remember, practice makes perfect. As for the free mods, they will not give you much in terms of power/performance. You may gain 10 horsepower. You should get slightly better throttle response too. I noticed by bumping my timing, the car seemed more eager to rev and was much smoother. Deleting the silencer and throwing in the K&N improved the throttle response and gave a deeper growl to the intake/exhaust. And the underdrive pulleys will take out the parasitic loss of the pulley system resulting in improved power. Don't expect too much, but for under $100, it's a good thing to do.

I raced one of those old 350 camaros with the auto in it with my first mustang. My car Had 3:73s, O/R h-pipe with flows, short shifter and a clutch. I walked away from him like he was still stopped...... for what its worth.
