hey i had 3.73's in my car and now i have a rear end with 2.73's and I want to get the speedo working right again... anyone know the part # or can I just go in and ask for the stock 89gt gear because 2.73s were stock i believe??

the driven gear depends on the drive gear.. and the drive gear changes by year and whether aod or t5

if you have a 7t drive (t5's from '91-ish and older) then you need a 16t driven

if you have an aod or '92 -ish and newer you need a 19t

also thewy are different pitch for aod and t5 so be tranny specific

i'm not sure what year the t5's went 8t... '92 or '93

'93 for sure... just don't know if the '92's were involved
