Default Im confused..

Ok guys I hope someone can help me out on my 1990 LX because I need to have this fixed for Friday night. Heres the issue and a list of what works and doesn't work:

-Instrument lights are OFF
-Amber parking lights OFF
-Tail lights OFF
-Brake Lights ON
-License Plate Lights OFF
-Heat and AC Lights OFF
-Headlights ON

This is all with the headlight switch pushed all the way forward. What is happening? Anyone have any ideas? I need to get this fixed asap beacause the local track wont let people run without taillights. Thanks a ton!!

Just went and looked at again, now the 5 amp fuse has no power at all. I put a new fuse in the block just to be sure and still no power. Hazards work though

check your fuses, the instrument lights should on a 5 amp fuse and the others, I dont know for sure.

I had an electrical problem with my fox when I got it. the radio shorted out the top, turn signals, and instrument lights...

I fixed the lighting issues; a brown wire somehow got seperated from the connector for the headlight switch. Much easier fix than I expected. Thanks for the help Shelty

lol nice. something similar happened to me (wire comming loose that is). my car kept dying and then not starting.. thought it was the ICM. replaced that and it fired right up so i took it for a drive and it died again... come to find out one of the 2 wires going to the coil had backed itself off and was kinda sitting there. pushed it down and no issues LOL

glad to see you figured out ur problem

I would get a headlight switch to keep when it goes out completely.
