sleeper project, sort of...
So not too long ago i picked up a 1990 Ford Mustang LX Convertible V8 5.0L. The car is in near mint condition. My idea for the car is to keep it looking like it just rolled off the show room floor, but still be pretty quick. I don't plan on racing it, but i would like to take it to a few local car shows.
The convertible top is in rough shape, but that will be replaced in 2 or 3 days. I got it with a white top, but being a red car, with a black and red interior, i chose a black replacement top.
So far, it has a K&N filter, and a stainless exhaust system. i want to say its a flowmaster, but I'm not sure off the top of my head. and I'm not sure if its cat back, or headers back.
So what should i do to get this project going ? I'm no car illiterate, but i don't know what mechanical things will have positive or negative effect on the performance.
I was thinking of starting with plugs, wires. I am considering putting N20 into it. just a basic system with a WOT trigger. MY car doesn't have fog lights, so theres a dummy switch there. i was thinking of getting a switch from a car that did have fog lights, and using that as the arming switch. the convertible takes up most of the trunk, so i was thinking 2 small tanks in the trunk, where they would be covered by the convertible top.
Thanks much for any advice

minus the turbo and stock rims. if i was doing a sleeper car thats exactly what i would do. the motor with even a cobra intake would max out the stock block and need fuel upgrades and a safe tune. suspension so the car would hook and then the car would surprise the hell out of a lot of people
