I have a question for this thread since my trunk looks nothing like that. Where can I find the carpet and board that goes in the hatch trunk?

The PO just crudely cut a non-fit board and put it over the hole but in the process just cut up the whole rear carpet so now everything I put in there just slides around.

The butt dyno is not accurate at all. My guess (and I have done this at the track) is that the seats are only good for maybe half a tenth in the 1/4. Put the seats back, the car will look a lot better. Just looks too hack for my taste.

I believe in leaving the interior as complete as possible unless you are running a monster race car. I am actually redoing my entire interior after the motor is done. The only thing I will change is seats to a true race seat so I can have a harness.

They are pricey, but if I ever delete my seats it would be with a StangMods kit. They look great! But I do like my back seats...

You gotta have the rear seats. Where you gonna put yo bi*ches at?

But in all serious-ness, you're going to miss those seats when you need to seat more.

I don't mean I am going to delete the rear seat, I am leaving it all intact. I am just going to add some race seats in the front. I don't remember who makes them off hand but they have the holes at the top for a harness but they also fold forward to allow access to the back seat.

Alot of companies make seats like that, shop around and don't assume it is only one company. I'm sure if you had your crossbar at the right height you could put a 5 point on stock seats... or maybe I'm dreaming.

Put them back in, unless you have a serious track car, I really don't see the need to remove them.

unless you have a lot of friends that want to ride in it all the time. Couple of 200 pounders in the back really slow a car down.
