A ls1 can get pretty quick with just a few mods. My mechanic had a trans-am with a stall converter, milled heads and exhaust that would run 8.30s.
He milled the heads a lot when it blew a gasket and found a way to advance the timing by taking apart the distributor.

1998 Mustang GT=225 HP
1998 Camaro Z28 = 350 HP.
Ford really ****ed up after the fox body. My camaro has more HP then the new GTs stock. Thank god the 5.0 is coming back.

Gotta have your haters. lol. Funny.. my Ls1 has 170,000 miles on it and it doesnt leak the smallest drop of oil nor rattles.
