7.5 to 8.8 swap ??????
i have an 80 mustang 4 cyl that im goin to put an 302 in it,and i just finished swapping the stock 7.5 rear end for the 8.8 rear end and i have a question.i noticed that the connection to the brake line is diffrent and i cannot connect it ,what do i need to do to get it to work.the 7.5 has it bolted to the rear end arm and the 8.8 has it to the body,what do i need to do .please help .THANKS

you'll need the 8.8 brake hose if you plan to run dual exhaust and the fitting that bolts to the body that is a brass fitting, it is obsolete, so you'll need to get one from a bone yard, here's a pic....you'll also need to run a little bit of new brake line for the relocation

7.5 to 8.8 swap
thanks for your help,i have a 86 5.0 that im useing for parts,can i just swap the 86 brake lines to the 8.8? the lines are going on my 1980 4 cyl that im going to do a v8 swap.can i just swap them without doing any mods.THANKS

the reason I did it the way the factory did it , is that it places the line in the proper spot so that the tail pipes don't interfere with the line, i GOT THE fitting used from a place called cj pony parts
