i was talking to some one else and they said depending on how much power i wanted out of the engine, i may not even need a transmission and or drivetrain. would that be true? im trying not to break 400hp. i'm reachin for somewhere around 350 to 375. would i still need to upgrade the tranny? And would i need a new computer if i go with a 302 small block?

fyi, naturally aspirated just means no power adder/forced induction(a.k.a. supercharger, turbocharger, nitrous)

you mean carb'd or fuel injected.
