Default Obsolete Holley Heads

Anybody know of the problems these heads have?

Reason I ask, I messed up and bought a pair...

they are bare. I may be able to get a deal on some locks, springs and retainers. I will still need valves though.

If I have to put the money into everything new, I wouldn't save a whole lot of cash over a new set of edelbrocks.

200 bucks or so isn't worth it to me if they are going to cause problems. If they are just bad flowing heads then, I am not worried about, I got something to get the air in... And a dremel if I need to get it out.

and don't lowball HolleyPerformance on e-bay or they might just say pay me

if you need a set of valves and hardware at a decent price, parts are easy to find for such, you don't need Holley on the box to assemble heads, email this guy, he'll hook you up with what you need.....www.flowtechinduction.com

thanks for the hook-up

I am probably going to run the car a while with the stock heads just to see how I like it. Will definatly check him out if I decide to slap them on or find another shortblock.

^^^^^ED will have what you need, edelbrock wanted 300.00 for valves for my performer heads, ED could get them for 160.00 = 16 valves
