not a bad price but a forged rotating assembly in a stock block if so be the case is a waste

Would this end bad like its last engine?

n its just overkill having parts that will survive to 700-800 and the block will only last to around 500-550. plus forged parts are heavier so it wouldnt rev as fast as say a cast crank

I'm picking up what your putting down. He may have installed a stud girdle too but I can't be sure. I know I had a completely stock bottom and yes it rev'ed like a 2 stroke (Timing gears?). I snapped the front 2 cylinders off of the block along with the front of the crank:icon_shrug:. All the Ford guys at work said "Should have bought a forged crank"

My 88 lx5.0 ho was med. lt. canyon red single stage paint. Shined like a sunset over calm water after a good buffing.
