Just made 3 passes. 12.88 @ 111, 12.86 @ 112, and 13.33 @ 110. I didn't launch the car at all. Second pass I spun at beginnig of 2nd. 3rd run I spun thru 1st and 2nd. The cars got a lot more in it. It wheel hops bad so I can't warm up the tires. Timings set at 10* and afr is around 10.5-11.0 so it's super rich. What times are those mph speeds good for? I'd like to get high 11's with more suspension work and a tune. Think it's possible?

Yes. Those times can net you low 12's with a good launch(sticky tires), but it's stupid rich. I wouldn't be surprised if the tune is good for more than 5mph. With tires, suspension and a tune it should be able to go mid-high 11's.

on my high compression 306 I ran 12.20's @ 112 so if you can hook it up low 12's should be a breeze and lean it out on the wot mode and you should be able to pic up some more time

Yeah it really needs a tune but I figured since it was so rich I'd be safe to make a few runs. It's got 555rs on it and they hooked alright for no warm up. But if I could launch the car at 3 or 4 grand it'd cut my 60 foot way down. My best 60 foot was a 1.96. I know the engines got a lot left just needs a few bugs worked out. But with the last 347 and my aode it ran a 13.2 at 104 so I picked up quite a bit, I'm happy until I can tune it.

Replaced my balancer. It spun somehow and instead of the 12* I thought I had it was almost 40 base. I dunno how it ran so good for being so far advanced.

Yeah I know the first motor I set it tdc and marked the right set of marks. And went off that on all the rest. Then when this one got built the builder went to set it at tdc and the balancer was way off. So I dunno when it spun but I went with the same one I sent it to them and they replaced it for half off since I didn't have a receipt or anything for it.
