Default noisy roller rockers

i have 1.7 crane roller rockers and they seem to be getting noisy mostly coming from the driver side.

the valve covers off right now and everything seems good. they have very little side-to-side play but thats how they were when i installed them about 3k miles ago.

the noise just seemed to get more noticeable recently. anything else it could be while i got it semi- torn apart?

not related but i did recently fix the tps sensor which was out of whack and car has more power in the high rpm's.

try readjusting them if that doesn't help it may be a lifter not pumping up fully

If it sounds like a sewing machine that's pretty normal for the Cranes. My Crane 1.7's have sounded like a sewing machine for oh....about 135,000 miles now.

If it sounds like a diesel/sewing machine, especially when it's cold, it's most likely the rockers. Pretty much everyone I know with the Cranes says the same thing. I have no way of recording video and uploading it, sorry(no, I don't live in a cave).

I was just going to say mine sound like a sewing machine, as well. This video doesn't show much under the hood time, but you may beable to hear them. It was taken with a cell phone camera as well and the audio pickup on it is pretty mediocor.
