Low 14's on a stock motor isn't that hard to do. Now that you have better h/c/i setup you should be in the mid/low 13's. You need to get better tires and learn how to use that t5.

That 60ft is what kills most people.

He said 225 street tires...

I mustered up a 1.89 with a 275 lo pro street tire last year.

If he cut .2-.3 seconds off the 60ft, 13 flat he would have. Did you lower the tire pressure at all? Waht RPM were you launching at? I was launchin at a measly 2250-ish as to not roast the tires.

dosen't matter......not gonna cut a 1.89 on a 225 street tire, I never understand why people waste the effort running street tires at a track, unless of course your running a n/a neon..lol

Tire pressure was at about 30psi, launches between 2000-2500.

I would like to have a set of slicks for the track but since this was only the second time i've gone in the last 3 years, I will stick to my street tires.

I googled atlanta dragway's elevation, the NHRA's website says 1,002ft above sea level.

on sept 8th (im guessing thats when you went) it was in the low 60's most the day, but 100% humidity, which put your DA (density altitude) at 1674 ft.

with dragtime's DA correction, your 14.3 at 99mph is corrected to a 14.0@100 at sea level with ideal conditions.

think you should be trapping a bit better then 99mph....

tire's, suspension and driver mod will do a lot.

with the calculation's i did, im thinking there's A LOT left in the car.....
