Hello, I am going to be checking out a sweet stang in a couple days, but the guy says there is some minor surface rust under the car. I don't plan on driving the car in the winter or rain, and it will be in an unheated garage all the time. Is the rust going to be an issue? Can I get under there and do anything about it? I'm in Canada so its hard to find any decent priced mustangs with no rust. Thanks for the advice!

If left untouched yes the rust will get worse. IF it is just surface rust you will want to hit it with the wire wheel and some kind of undercoating. I would lift the carpet too and see how bad it is inside.

if its just surface rust do like project said and hit it with a wire wheel. also check the quarter panels fro rust also
