manual rack

Default manual rack

would i be dumb to put a manual rack in a dd my power steering stuff is about shot so i m lookin to up grade

No,if you use the 15.1 manual rack it doesn't steer much harder than powersteering.You just have to get into the habit of waiting till the car is moving before you try to turn,it makes it easier to turn.If you get the 20.1 rack it will be twitchy at high speeds.

just buy the whole kit, the rack, the steering shaft, bushings, and tie rods. if you go on ebay, you can get it cheaper because there are people selling the FR rack, with the other parts made by a company without a big name.

when my car was my DD i had the manual rack and it was just fine. could hardly tell the difference, the stock ps system isnt the best to begin with
