ok it has been awhile since i have been in Advance Auto Parts but back when i worked there in their ricer section(aka "performance" section where all the river led stuff is) they used to have an led bulb that was a replacement for a 194 bulb the only thing is they were discontinuing most of that section when i stopped working there so i dont know if they still sell them but they are out there

yeah thanks man, i found two on superbrightleds.com but im jsut not sure which one to use..

this one " 921-x12 Wedge Base LED bulb
921 Type with 12 LEDs, replaces 194/168/912 wedge base car bulbs
Wide 75 degree beam pattern, non-polarized
measures 1.20 inch long by 0.60 inch diameter
Select LED Color "

or this one " WLED-xHP High Power LED bulb
12 VDC Wedge Base bulb (194/168 type)
With 1 High Power LED
Polarized bulb, Available in Pure White, Blue, Green, Red and Amber "

i don't know about a '93, but the above mentioned is the only one that will fit in the sockets on my '86. be sure and measure the stock bulbs before buying. the 2 you mentioned are quite a bit different in dimensions in all aspects. this particular bulb style wasn't any brighter than a normal bulb, and the dimmer didn't work. i called superbrightled and they said it should work and maybe my switch was bad. bought new switch, and no go. it's your call. i did get the blue ones and they do look very cool!!
