Yea, winters are very random up here, might be bright and sunny, and you drive to work, and by time you get out theres 6inchs of snow on the ground.

so the car pretty much get's locked up, haha. to risky.

thank's ill keep everyone updated. but i don't think it necessarily deserves a build thread.

ya its the same here in spokane. We had 5 ft of snow in a 36 hour period this past winter. My car was tucked away nice and snug in the garage. Public transportation blows. LOL. You dont have to keep it as a build thread but I think we are all interested to see the numbers after you get the work finished.

Some of you hit the number's right on the head.

dyno video
YouTube - my 1989 5.0 dyno 24sept09

dyno graph

(the dip in the old graph is from the AOD slipping.......)

made a best of 230hp and 270trq almost on the button. The breaking up was found to be that im running 87octane more then likely, or turbulence from the fans in the mass air flow housing.

i was honestly expecting 250hp 300trq.

crazy thing is if you look at the graph, my air fuel mixture is RICHER for some reason? only thing ive changed that could have caused that is swapping the '93 Cobra MAF onto the car........ its odd.

15 more horse power from the AOD, even though i installed headers and the electric fan seance then. The car feels much much more powerful then it did with the AOD, so i don't understand.............

I'm beginning to think there's no way in hell i will hit 300rwhp anymore with the heads and cam i have selected.

god damn 5.0's.

Man, those numbers are not that great. Is it maybe due to the elevation. Because I know I made 219rwhp and 267rwtq with bolton's, a GT-40 intake and an AODE. Hopefully your new combo will be much better

Damn, I was gonna say 225. Mine dyno ran at 240 for just a few little extra tweaks and minus the intake.
